Publishing Process

Once your article has been approved through the editorial review process, it enters the final stage before publication.

During this stage, the editorial team prepares your article for publication by formatting the content, organizing headings, assigning categories and tags, optimizing metadata for search engines, and selecting or updating featured images when necessary. These adjustments help maintain a consistent reading experience across Console Critics while improving accessibility and discoverability.

Every published article includes contributor credit using your preferred display name. We believe contributors should receive recognition for their work, and every accepted article becomes part of your public portfolio as a published writer on Console Critics.

After your article is published, you’ll receive a link to the live page. We encourage contributors to share their work across personal websites, social media platforms, LinkedIn, and professional portfolios. Publishing with Console Critics is intended to help creators build both experience and a body of published work they can proudly showcase.

As the publication grows, featured articles may also be highlighted on our homepage, newsletters, and social media channels to reach a wider audience.

Publishing marks the beginning of your article’s journey, not the end. Every article contributes to the growth of Console Critics while helping you establish your voice as a writer, reviewer, or creator within the gaming community.
