Editorial Review

Every article submitted to Console Critics goes through an editorial review before publication. This process helps ensure that all published content meets our standards for quality, accuracy, and readability while respecting each contributor’s unique voice.

Once your submission is received, the editorial team will review your article for clarity, organization, grammar, originality, and overall editorial quality. We may also verify factual information, links, and references when appropriate.

If revisions are needed, you’ll receive feedback outlining the recommended changes. Revision is a normal part of the publishing process and should be viewed as an opportunity to strengthen your work. Our goal is not to rewrite your article, but to help present your ideas as clearly and professionally as possible.

After any requested revisions have been completed, your article will undergo a final review before approval. Once approved, it moves into publication preparation, where formatting, categories, images, metadata, and search engine optimization are completed.

Not every submission will be accepted for publication. Articles may be declined if they do not align with Console Critics’ editorial standards, duplicate existing content, contain inaccurate information, or fall outside the publication’s scope. If a submission is not accepted, we encourage contributors to continue writing and submit future work.

Our editorial review process is built on collaboration, constructive feedback, and a shared commitment to publishing thoughtful, engaging content for the gaming community. We appreciate every contributor who chooses to share their work with Console Critics and strive to make the review process professional, respectful, and transparent.
